A Mother's Day Poem

A Mother's Day Poem
by Jenny Moyer (2008)

In your hands that's where I lay
That one Time
That faithful Day
My first sight was of my Mother,
my second was of my Big Brother
I love her so much it makes me jump for joy
I remember when she bought me my first toy
when she talks on the phone
all I can hear is her sweet tone
i know she loves me so,
I try to remember that when she tells me NO
I love my Mom's pretty Blue eyes
I always try not to tell her lies
She is always there when I am sad
We both like to cuddle with Dad
My Mom has such an amazing voice
If i had to pick an album hers would be my choice
She loves to look at the beautiful flowers,
my Mom is so great I think she has powers
I think my Mom is the best
She loves decorating our big Nest.
