A cute story in my world.
We are sitting in church on Sunday. The sermon is on God's Design for marriage. Paster Jamie talks to us about a time when many of his teenagers friend's parents were divorcing. He and his wife Kim felt they needed to really make sure their kids felt safe and secure about their marriage. At that point they decided to sit the kids down and tell them the following...
Jamie began by telling the kids, there was nothing that Kim (their Mom) could ever do that would make him leave her...and then Kim proceeded to tell the kids there was nothing their father could ever do that would cause her to leave him. Really stressing the love they had for one another even when things got tough.
A few minutes later, as we are listening to Pastor, Jenny taps me on the shoulder with the biggest smile on her face and says, "Mom! See you can get me a dog!!!"
