Third, fifth and sixth graders took us through time, from the land of fairy tales, 1800's on the plantations and prairies, WWII, Wrigley Field, the 50's, the 70's!! and ended with a very moving drama done to the DC Talk song, "In the Light." Showing the struggle between good and evil. They followed this with an invitation to accept Christ.It was an evening full of music, dancing and drama...Austin played a soldier going off to Pearl Harbor, and even danced to "Boogie Woogie Bugel Boy!" The War scene was touching. Jenny played Mama Bear from Goldielocks and the three bears. When she came up to the front of the stage with baby bear, her line was, "Come along baby bear, it's dinner time!"
We were able to enjoy the show under the stars. It was a beautiful and special evening.
