In high school I had the privilege to have a family of three girls in my life. Carla and I became friends when we tried out to be cheerleaders and made the B squad in ninth grade. It was a big deal! Turns out we were inseparable for years to come. As the years continued we cheered with her older sister Torrey as well as younger sister Marie, and became the Varsity cheerleaders for the next three years. As silly as some may say cheerleading is...I would not have traded those times for anything. To see this picture of Elaine (mom) and her daughters with their husbands and all the beautiful grandchildren is such a blessing. The memories have been flooding back these days!
