Today I was blessed to have my dear friend and old college roommate Wynne (Gabriel) Coleman come and spend the afternoon with me. She and her hubby Steve are in Tuscon visiting from Kansas City. What a treat that was! We talked and talked...laughed about fun, crazy, stupid things we did and realized how so much time can pass with little or no skip in the beat of a friendship. How can people pick up right where they left off after many years, marriage and four kids between the two of us? A lot to talk about. It was great to hear her voice, her laugh (she has a great one), her side of the memories and enjoy all of this over one of our favorite pass times...eating. Oregano's was delicious! A baked chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream and all!! It was a wonderful day with my friend. The last time I saw her was 11 years ago...when Austin was a baby. She is beautiful, very fun and so sweet!
